Squid game: A survival thriller , thought provoking Netflix show

Squid game: how a Netflix show gripped the whole world

A hyper-violent thriller movie, which assimilates death through childhood games and tells us that how every human from different backgrounds and past history can win a billion worth won. It’s an original brutal surviving series that humans can take any stake when it comes about money and the director started to shoot this series from 2009/2010. even its about to beat regency era romance bridgerton to become the streaming platforms biggest original series of all time. this kind of genre is hardly found in psychologic and thriller movies but squid game talks about its striking visuals , relatable characters and disturbing study of human nature .

A group of 456 people , in debt and desperate hopeless grown-ups , are lured onto a bloodthirsty survival game where they have a chance to walk away with 45.6 billion Korean won if any one out of 456 players win a series of six deadly savage, cruel and brute game.

The games are simple enough that were played in childhood and that surprising juxtaposition of innocent child’s play with violent deaths has caused viewers to sit up . if they lose, they will die, even if its for a puny step !

Red light green light ,dalgona Honeycomb ,Tug of war , marble throw ,Glass stepping stone  and Squid game are the innocent series of childhood game . according to my preference , tug of war  and dalgona honeycomb was the most nerve kicking one!  In tug of war , the group of seong gi-hun was diverse in age and gender. But oh ii-nam was the most underestimated and oldest one! Only for his strategy , they won the tug of war !

The hyper-competitive nature of society in south Korea has left many feeling disillusioned ,i.e despite of hard work , it simply is not possible from everyone to get top job spots and universities ! the games in the show , however deadly , present an alternative world supposedly based on fair play! Main theme of this genre “all participants in the game are equal . we are giving same people who have suffered unequal treatment and discrimination in the outside world the last chance to win a fair competition.” this movie reminds me of the survival of the fittest !!
